At Paladares Travel we wish to ensure that our clients’ understand that their safety and wellbeing is essential at all times. The importance thereof, in particular during the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, cannot be underestimated.
As most international tourism in Europe has been allowed to restart, Portugal and Spain have sprung back to life following a gradual easing of these countries’ lockdown restrictions. Bespoke small scale food and wine tours, adhering to local Covid-19 regulations are taking place again.
We have been evaluating the “new normal’’ post-lockdown situation for our tours. This includes assessing required policies are put in place to create a safe and healthy experience for both our guests, partners and colleagues. We continue to monitor what is going on, as your local eyes and ears on the ground in Spain and Portugal.
As you are aware, for our Portuguese and Spanish food and wine tours we work with small scale providers and individuals we know well. Most of them have reopened. We are keen to support these valuable local businesses (small hotels, artisan food and wine producers, farmers, chefs, local guides, drivers) in every way we can.
